A babbling brook of stream of consciousness - really beautiful stuff. Digging into a broken mind is a really rich place to mine for beautiful images and metaphors - and I feel you\'ve delivered quite a treasure in this fic. It didn\'t have the tension I expected - begging for release in the end was a shock to me. He seemed so bizarrely at peace in the eye of the hurricaine, before the visitor came. I need to reread it a few times to see if I can put my finger on where Harry came back to life enough to want to die. But it will be a pleasure to reread.

I think that was one of the most extraordinary fics I\'ve had the pleasure to read. I read it a couple of days ago already, and it just stuck in my head. It is very, very beautiful - terribly sad, and a very intense reminder of how fragile the human mind really is, but the language alone makes it priceless. It\'s hard to describe... dreamlike? poetic? A story with such a y emy emphasis on style can be overwhelming, but this one just balanced everything perfectly - the words, the psychology, the despair. I really don\'t want to try and dissect it, because it grabbed me at gut level and *really* made me shiver.
So, no need to worry about flames, I think - everyboho\'ho\'d flame something so exceptional would reveal him/her/itself as an ignoramus of epic proportions :). Thaou fou for writing and sharing this wonderful gem.
